The GodMode Creator aplication was designed to be a freeware utility which lets you create 38 “GodModes” in Windows 7 & Vista, 32-bit, with a click. There is nothing magical about the GodMode. Windows has a set of certain folders which are identified by unique strings referred to as CLSID or Windows Class Identifiers.

These folders can be accessed by using the CLSID identifier codes that Windows assigns to each individual folder in the Windows Registry. If you know the codes, you can launch these with ease. 

In short, GodModes are nothing but developer shortcuts built into Windows 7 & Vista, that enable easy access to certain settings and information about the operating system. Using GodMode Creator, you can create these shortcuts easily. Simply click on the desired button and it will create the Special Folder or “GodMode” shortcuts on your desktop.

Burn Images Files in Windows 7 Without 3rd Party Softwares

Though Windows 7 had taken Personal Computing Section with a storm, This is one of the lesser known fact in Windows 7.  You can actually burn an Image File (either IMG format or ISO Counterpart) without needing any third-party applications.  

Core Guide : 

• Browse through your Windows Explorer and navigate into the path, where your Image File is located.
• Right-Click on the Image File you need to burn, and choose Open With | Windows Disk Image Burner.
• The application will detect the disc type and, if the disc is rewritable and has content on it, it will show you a warning message allowing you to choose between deleting the existing content or not.
• After the Completion, the program will automatically Eject the disk. Click on Close to Exit the Program.

[How-to] Set Process Priority in Windows

Whenever a process is created in Windows, it is given a certain priority. There might be several processes running on your system which can be viewed in the Processes tab after pressing [Alt] + [Ctrl] + [Del] keys simultaneously. If several processes are running on your system, you can give special priorities depending upon their importance. For example if you select a process and give it a 'High' priority, your CPU would tend to complete the process as soon as possible. You can set different priorities for different processes.

To do so follow the steps below :

• Press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Del] and Click on the Task Manager button.
• Click the Processes tab.
• Select an appropriate process.
• Right-Click the selected process, place the mouse pointer over the Set Priority option and select an appropriate priority level from the resulting context menu.

[How to] Unlock Regional Themes in Windows 7

Windows 7 comes preloaded with a lot of themes that can be accessed under Personalize Control Panel. By the way you will be able to use one of the following themes - Architecture, Characters, Landscapes, Nature, Scenes along with a Regional Theme if you had selected any of the country as Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa or United States during installation.

Windows 7 automatically installs the regional theme according to your Country and hides others from the Personalization Control Panel. So here's the workshop to get all the regional themes accessed.

• Open Notepad and Copy n Paste the following Registry Entries into the text document
• Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

“Windows XP Mode” RC Released for Windows 7

Today the Software giant had released Windows XP Mode RC for Windows 7, Some of the features of this RC includes ,

* You can now attach USB devices to Windows XP Mode applications directly from the Windows 7 task-bar. This means your USB devices, such as printers and flash drives, are available to applications running in Windows XP Mode, without the need to go into full screen mode.
* You can now access Windows XP Mode applications with a “jump-list”. Right click on the Windows XP Mode applications from the Windows 7 task bar to select and open most recently used files.
* You now have the flexibility of customizing where Windows XP Mode differencing disk files are stored.
* You can now disable drive sharing between Windows XP Mode and Windows 7 if you do not need that feature.
* The initial setup now includes a new user tutorial about how to use Windows XP Mode.

Check for Hard Disk Failure with Ease

Be honest. In the digital era where bits and bytes have the day, does anyone really think about which tasks are performed by the hardware found in your typical computer? Integrated hardware components, in particular highly delicate hard drives, are hard at work every day. As long as the drive is functioning properly, you are lulled into a false sense of security. However, when the trusted hard drive suddenly fails, this is more than just a minor inconvenience. The resulting loss of data is often immensely damaging. Ashampoo HDD Control is therefore ideally suited to boost the performance of your drive, guard against disk failure and remove clutter from your hard drives, while performing all three functions of monitoring, maintenance and defragmentation.

Monitoring
The software supports all commonly available IDE and serial ATA drives.
